We endeavor to reduce our disposable consumption across all of our offices and share educational content to promote more sustainable lifestyles for our employees and families while working from home. This includes an awareness of our impact on biodiversity nationally and globally.
In February 2019, the Third Bridge London offices introduced reusable water bottles for all employees and removed plastic cups from circulation. On average, 1,500 cups were being used per week across our two London offices. This has resulted in the removal of 87,000 plastic cups as of March 2020.
Through a strong carbon footprint strategy, we are committed to reduce our Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions. Third Bridge is also committed to reducing its carbon footprint through sustainable real estate. Our Shanghai office, One Museum Place, was one of the first towers in Shanghai to receive the LEED Platinum Certification for Core & Shell. It also obtained RESET Air pre-certification status in October 2018 owing to its advanced air quality management and monitoring system.
