3.

When a company uses a new innovative packaging solution that actually dramatically increases the shelf life of a food, pricing is manipulated to reflect that. Something along the lines of value-added pricing. Have you seen this across the industry recently?
4.
Would you say it is almost counterintuitive in some ways? If food producers want longer shelf lives – having their food on the shelves longer means less wasted product, more opportunity to sell – why not be more willing to pay for innovative packaging that extends shelf life?
5.
How will demand for the different categories of packaging be impacted? Any thoughts on the winners and losers because of the market shift?
6.
How would you estimate the percentage YoY decline in can and glass, as it relates to beverage consumption or across the board, perhaps over the next decade?

10.
Would you say the country, at this point, simply does not have the infrastructure to support the volumes of recyclable products?
11.
Do you still anticipate recyclability, compostability to be one of the strongest driving forces for innovation and volumes in food packaging? Whether it is recycled or not, it will still be top of mind for the food producer, the consumer or the seller?
12.
Are you aware of certain companies adopting India’s model of bringing packaging back to the store to get refilled? Do you think this has any longevity or is likely in the next five years or so?
13.
Do you have anything to add about packaging innovation, R&D or any other segment of the food and beverage packaging space?
14.
Which players do you expect to emerge as the most successful, whether through diversification of product sets, via innovation, or through M&A? Which segments might emerge on top as we talk about sustainability and freshness, wellness? What are the key factors to consider when determining winners and losers within the packaging suppliers?
