Job Description
Position Overview
Forum is a content product that helps investors make better investment decisions faster. We conduct in depth Interviews with senior executives and industry specialists to unearth critical insights and generate unfiltered transcripts.
Our 150-strong industry aligned team covers over 10,000 public and private companies, applying data-driven factor models to identify where capital is most likely to be deployed. Our library of over 30,000 Forum Interview transcripts is continually strengthened by the generation of approximately 700 transcripts per month.
Responsibilities
In this role your responsibilities will include:
Maintaining coverage over an established universe of Financial companies and themes to facilitate periodic regular Interviews on topics of most relevance to investors
Performing diligence on companies utilizing company filings (10-Ks, S-1s, etc), sell-side research, earnings call transcripts, news syndications, and more
Continuing with comprehensive research including work on areas such as competitive dynamics, growth drivers and challenges, customer and partner considerations, and ESG (environmental, social and governance) specifics to prepare questions and questions ahead of the event
Hosting Interviews with thought leaders, reacting to the conversation flow and asking informed intelligent questions and following up appropriately that will extract to deliver value for our clients
Collaborating with commercial team members to ensure Forum Interviews are being marketed and sold effectively
Working closely with the Forum research team in New York to ensure that the best speakers are selected and pre-qualified ahead of each interview
Building relationships through interactions with buy-side clients before and after each Interview to help drive continuous improvement of their experience with Forum better Forum content and user experiences
A successful candidate will:
Have a real interest in traditional financial markets, alternative investments and the public equity investment process, as well as the Financial areas in particular
Have demonstrable experience of researching and summarizing content, conducting research on sectors, industries and companies
Be able to confidently and professionally interact with C-level executives
Have a strong entrepreneurial drive and desire to develop the Forum product
Be a results- driven team contributor player who is able to effectively can manage their time while maintaining a positive and “can-do” attitude
Qualifications
Hold an undergraduate degree with a strong academic record
At least two years’ of relevant, professional work experience
