Prior to working at Third Bridge, I worked as a data protection assistant at a foreign exchange specialist in London. I sat in the Legal department categorising the handling of personal data and conducting presentations to the front office, to ensure GDPR rules were followed correctly.

I wanted a new challenge in a similar department, but with the opportunity to develop and be part of a wider team. The outlook and growth of Third Bridge was appealing, likewise was the hiring of groups of like minded graduates and others at a similar stage of their career.

On my first day, I did not expect such a comprehensive training course.  All the team leaders were dedicated and provided detailed bespoke coaching for my new role. It was also exciting to meet the other new starters and our itinerary throughout the day was well organised. Compared to other jobs I have had, where the level of training and contact with other staff can be limited, this was so refreshing. It was great to meet my team, get set up on my laptop and understand the systems Third Bridge uses. My expectations were completely surpassed.

The work environment at Third Bridge surprised me in a good way – It is way more open plan than I imagined and there is a flexible approach to working, hot desking and booking meeting rooms.

I think the main piece of advice I would give to anyone thinking of applying to work here is simply to ‘Go for it’ – We have a welcoming, insightful and fun culture and the social events and networking with like minded people is an attractive bonus. It is a great job for graduates who potentially do not know which career path to take. Roles at Third Bridge are diverse and teach you useful transferable skills, and the speed of the company’s development and growth is so exciting.  They have a very forward thinking and optimistic vision for the future.
