Account Management Associate - Private Equity (German)

Position Overview

The Account Management team manages defined books of existing client business across Third Bridge’s Connections and Forum product offerings, and is responsible for retention and growth within these accounts, creating revenue opportunities and cross-selling additional products. The team is expected to diligently manage a pipeline of renewal and cross-sell opportunities, while always seeking to drive timely deal execution and excellent commercial outcomes.

As an Account Management Associate (Private Equity), you will work both reactively and proactively to provide exceptional customer service across a predominantly German-speaking subset of the European client base, focussed mostly on private equity, with some exposure to credit and equities clients. You will play a vital role in the client management cycle, constantly engaging with end users to build strong working relationships and trust between Third Bridge and your client. 


  • You will identify inactive users on Third Bridge’s Connections and Forum accounts, drive client engagement, and gather feedback using phone calls, emails, Bloomberg, and face-to-face meetings

  • You will sell Third Bridge’s Forum product offering to specific client subset on a pay-as-you-go basis, generating interest in our transcripts and driving attendance to our conference calls

  • You will regularly meet with clients to pitch Third Bridge’s products and gather feedback, aiming to understand their research process and where Third Bridge fits in

  • You will support clients by offering regular training and demo sessions on how to make the best possible use of Third Bridge’s services

  • You will maintain and update team structures, client user preferences and pertinent account data in our internal systems to ensure that content is tailored to client needs and our service delivery exceeds client expectations

  • You will develop an awareness of client pricing structures and the ability to articulate these verbally and in writing

  • You will support Associate VPs and VPs on renewals and cross-sell opportunities by working closely with them to execute on account plans to achieve strategic goals.

  • You will collaborate with internal stakeholders - legal, marketing, research, sales and product teams to ensure client

  •  requests are carried out effectively and quickly

  • You will attend internal and external meetings punctually and always be well prepared

  • You will be on hand to respond to inbound calls and requests from clients related to our service


  • A passion for providing superb customer service

  • Proven experience in building and maintaining relationships by phone and face-to-face would be beneficial

  • Excellent organization, written and oral/presentation skills

  • Collaborative approach to problem solving


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Experience in a customer/client facing role is desirable although a recent graduate could also be considered

  • Fluent proficiency in both spoken and written German language
