Position Overview

We are currently looking to expand our sales team which will focus on introducing our products to the Asia Pacific market.  As such, we are looking to hire an Associate in Hong Kong, responsible for building relationships with new clients and delivering on aggressive growth targets. The position will have a large focus on selling our Connections and Forum offering to Hedge Funds and Investment Managers.  


This role will include, but is not limited to: 

  • Demonstrate Third Bridge’s value proposition across the entire suite of primary research services

  • Prospect potential clients who fit the on-boarding criteria, developing relationships to better understand their broader research needs and explore cross-selling opportunities

  • Oversee the full sales cycle from generation and qualification of leads, managing trial access to the closing of new deals

  • Assist the Sales Team with user acquisition and prospecting strategies

  • Nurture and track accounts to identify additional opportunities such as renewals, up-selling, and cross-selling

To be successful in this role you will need to have:

  • Demonstrable ability to generate and follow up on business leads effectively with excellent networking skills 

  • Proven experience in communicating effectively and building relationships quickly over the phone

  • Possesses basic knowledge of sales techniques and financial markets including alternative investments

  • A self-starter, who can establish and organize daily sales activities with minimal supervision

  • Results driven team player with a positive and “can-do” attitude

  • Self-motivated individual with strong time management skills and attention to detail 

  • Strong familiarity with Excel and use of databases 


  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Prior sales experience a plus, but not required

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, negotiation skills with strong communication

  • Fluency in both written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
