This position can be fully remote or sit within our LA or NYC offices.

Position Overview  

The Compensation Manager is a global position which will lead and execute in two large pillars within Total Rewards: Global Compensation and Retirement programs. This position will get involved in broader initiatives within the Total Rewards Team and  report into the Head of Total Rewards. 

The incumbent can either be remote or sit in our New York City office. 

  • Continuous review and plan design of our global compensation plans which supports the growth within our business and aligned to driving performance 

  • Ensure critical HR programs and processes are executed i.e. year end process, annual salary planning and bonus payments 

  • Design and administration of retirement plans, ensuring our plans are competitive, the best offering we can provide within our scheme and remains in compliance with legislation

  • Review and recommend salary placements for new hires, including Executive hires

  • Provide data input to annual salary surveys

  • Experience in understanding of various HR systems and platforms, ability to drive efficiency and  automation

  • Provides team support of benefit plans and budgeting

  • Have experience in Payroll and ability to support large initiatives such as migration to a global platform

  • Ensure we are updated on and adhere to  new legislation, policies, procedures and legal requirements as it relates to our compensation and retirement programs globally 

  • Ability to engage and build rapport with global leadership across Third Bridge

  • Work closely with other HR Centers of Excellence (CoEs) - Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Total Rewards and Analytics (HRIS) and Finance to deliver high impact programs and initiatives that support employee engagement and continued process improvements

  • Be a positive and effective change agent through open, transparent, and timely communication

  • Successfully operates in a fast-paced and Agile environment


The successful candidate should have:

  • 5+ years experience within  Compensation and Retirement Programs  

  • Experience with managing and monitoring commission plans; design experience is a plus

  • Proficient in managing Compensation and Pension programs

  • Expert knowledge in local employment law

  • Has an acute attention to detail, and is analytically oriented

  • Experience within a global organisation is a plus

  • Bachelor’s degree
