Job Description

Third Bridge’s Sales Team is responsible for fueling the growth of the Third Bridge business through new client acquisition. This position will have new business quota and budget responsibilities across the US for a large territory of prospective clients.  

In this role, you will:

  • Lead, coach and develop a regional new business sales team to achieve critical performance metrics and quarterly / annual budgets

  • Design and implement a strategic sales plan that expands Third Bridge’s customer base in target markets and client segments; collaborate and develop comprehensive territory plans with direct reports

  • Actively manage team of Sales Executives to build and maintain a balanced pipeline, with the appropriate focus on continuously building and advancing opportunities within it to accurately forecast outcomes and achieve budgets

  • Identify emerging market trends and shifts with an eye towards improving competitive positioning, evolving value propositions and informing product development

  • Build key relationships and network with C-Level executives within the territory assigned

  • Leverage data and business intelligence to effectively forecast, maintain a healthy pipeline, identify risks and opportunities, inform operating plans and direct sales team efforts to achieve business objectives

  • Build a high performing sales team by recruiting and selecting candidates and effectively on-boarding new hires

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales executive and/or sales management roles, with at least 3 years of experience with direct management of sales executives (relevant industry experience preferred)

  • Performance history of consistently achievement or exceeding new business targets 

  • Demonstrated track record of recruiting, training, coaching, motivating and retaining successful employees and customers

  • Committed to continuous education of self and team through workshops, seminars and other learning opportunities

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization

  • Ability to work across multiple key stakeholder groups within an organization in order to drive the business forward 

  • Deep experience in value-led selling techniques and methodologies, ideally for professional services and/or subscription sales

  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close

  • Strong business sense and industry expertise

  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
