Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW

You will be working within a dynamic and high performing global legal team which is growing to keep pace with the fast-paced growth of the Company. You will report into the Head of Legal, based in London, but also work closely with the wider Legal Team based in New York and Shanghai. You will be a trusted legal adviser to the business with a broad scope of work.

 

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES

● Drafting, negotiating and approving our agreements with our clients (including client agreements, addendums and order forms)

● Drafting, checking and negotiating vendor contracts (including sales, marketing, NDAs, property leases and content distribution)

● Supporting the operational managers and the Head of Legal with cease-and-desist letters, employee disputes, restrictive covenant breaches and other disputes and investigations

● Drafting and updating policies including whistleblowing, modern slavery, anti-bribery and corruption and employee share dealing

● Engaging with key internal stakeholders and c-suite management on ad hoc legal queries and projects and drafting internal communications

● Conducting ad hoc legal research

● Assisting the Head of Legal with company secretarial filings and good governance

● Working closely with the wider Legal and Compliance Team on ad hoc projects including the launches of new products, opening new offices and any upcoming M&A activity

● Proactively seeking out ways to mitigate risks, improve efficiencies, and work to implement solutions across the legal team

Data Protection

● Responding to data subject rights requests (including DSARs and Do Not Contact requests) and keeping the data protection registers up to date

● Reviewing data protection impact assessments and data processing agreements

● Helping the Head of Legal to ensure Third Bridge remains compliant with data privacy laws
