Technology, Data & Product Function Overview
The Technology, Data & Product function is led by our Chief Information Officer. We are investing heavily in product, data and technology capabilities, enabling us to deliver innovative products and solutions, and deep insight market intelligence to our clients.
Through harnessing the latest business technology services, we allow the business to work faster, more intelligently and we are uncovering more and more business opportunities as a result.
The Role: Associate Product Manager
We’re looking to introduce a new generation of products and are looking for passionate Product Managers who value shipping products in a fast-growing company, and can help innovate and drive product initiatives across the firm. You will take significant user needs or pain-points and turn them into actionable solutions, coordinating the delivery from idea to successful implementation.
Product Managers work cross-functionally with teams from engineering, design, data analysis to marketing, commercial and to build the best products in the industry.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Identify and deliver value from ideation to launch:
Understand our client’s personas, workflows and needs to ensure we deliver value to them
Anticipate their needs and be a true partner to clients and other stakeholders across the organization
Translate the product strategy into detailed requirements, scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
Build and work autonomously through the product backlog all the way to implementation and launch
Track and monitor features after launch, collect feedback and iterate
Integral part of a cross functional team:
Challenge the status quo to deliver solutions that improve performance, operational efficiency and clients’ experience
Operate with a sense of urgency and prioritize to meet the objectives of the team
Work closely with the Product Management & Cross Functional Community at Third Bridge to help define and deliver our product roadmap
Shepard the development process, working closely with the Engineering Group to refine, plan and launch features
Be part of an Agile team, continuously improving how you work together, making sure everyone is productive, happy and efficient
Skills and Experience:
You are passionate about product and working in a fast-growing organization
You are comfortable working in a team that deals with ambiguity and are curious about finding the best possible solutions
You have excellent listening skills - are able to actively listen to client and partners needs so as to clearly identify opportunities, issues and problems
You have excellent communication skills - are able to articulate value propositions, problem statements and business opportunities to a wide variety of stakeholders
You have worked in a product role and can demonstrate a history of shipping great products or features
You have worked in a technical environment made up of legacy applications as well as green field development
Technical aptitude is preferred - you understand the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and are able to understand high-level technical concepts like data models / APIs etc.
Prior experience working in an agile methodology
Experience in media, market data, financial services preferred but not strictly required
Computer Science degree or equivalent preferred
