Technology, Data & Product Function Overview
The Technology, Data & Product function is led by our Chief Information Officer. We are investing heavily in product, data and technology capabilities, enabling us to deliver innovative products and solutions, and deep insight market intelligence to our clients.
Through harnessing the latest business technology services, we allow the business to work faster, more intelligently and we are uncovering more and more business opportunities as a result.
The Role: Product Manager - Content Distribution
You will report directly to the Head of Product & Distribution. Content Distribution over third party platforms and terminals such as Bloomberg, Factset and many more is a critical component of the overall value proposition of our Forum product.
This role is integral to supporting our customers’ success using 6 of the most prevalent terminals in the financial services today and will be responsible for expanding our distribution capabilities to ensure our content is available in the most relevant part of our customers’ workflow.
The role is exciting and challenging and will require you to build strategic relationships with our third party distribution partners while working alongside many groups within Third Bridge such as marketing, content, technology and more.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Content Distribution Strategy
Understand our client’s personas, workflows and needs within third party platforms to ensure we deliver value to them via third party platforms
Evaluate and integrate with new channels to distribute our marketing leading content through
Work in concert with our content, marketing and product teams to leverage our channels for strategic content marketing initiatives
Customer Success Through Strategic Partnerships
Champion customer success and engagement in our third party channel
Monitor and support customer engagement across third party channels through analytics and reporting; proactively identify and address issues and opportunities across third party platforms
Maintain awareness of improvements in third party platforms that maximise the discoverability and value of our content in their platforms
Work with product marketing manager to produce materials for our customers and commercial teams that ensure customers make the most of our content combined with the capabilities of third party channels
Maintain marketing collateral surrounding our distribution capabilities in partnership with product marketing manager and marketing
Facilitate joint marketing activities across these channels - e.g. seminars etc.
Facilitate any content marketing over third party platforms
Work closely with our operations team who are responsible for the delivery and discoverability of our content into the platforms
Ensure all content is delivered and thoroughly tagged and discoverable across all third party platforms
Ensure operational teams between Third Bridge and channels are connected and adhering to agreed support models
Facilitate and drive a transition to automated distribution through APIs and distribution technologies
Background in Publishing, News or Media preferred
Excellent listening skills - able to actively listen to client and partners needs so as to clearly identify opportunities, issues and problems
Excellent communication skills - able to articulate value propositions, problem statements and business opportunities to a wide variety of stakeholders
Demonstrable history of building strategic relationships
Technical aptitude preferred - understands concepts that are common in the distribution and publication space such as data formats and APIs
