We are looking to recruit an ambitious and driven Content Marketing Manager to take responsibility for our inbound campaigns and digital content. You will have a deep understanding of writing high quality content and repurposing content for different media channels. Reporting directly to the Marketing Director, you will take responsibility for executing on the annual campaign plan, and work closely with the sales, marketing, editorial and product teams to attract and retain customers.
As Content Marketing Manager you will:
Produce high-quality, insight-driven, targeted, engaging and accessible content across all channels to drive lead generation and customer
Accountable for all campaigns and content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, leads, that deliver sales and customer retention.
Write copy for promotional materials within marketing campaigns and across digital channels
Manage the overall content distribution schedule, ensuring all content is delivered accurately, to a high quality, and on time
Write effective copy, adhering to house style guidelines, for a variety of customer personas. e.g. website copy, case studies, award submissions, social media and email marketing
Work with our Digital Manager to produce regular reports of campaign results, including digital engagement, evaluation of KPIs, and ROI
Collect and use data to inform new campaigns and the evaluation of existing campaigns
Work closely with all sales channels to identify target prospects and ensure campaign follow-up is tracked and visible
Communication skills: Excellent writing skills are a prerequisite as you will frequently have to write copy for marketing promotions. You will also need to be able to speak clearly and confidently as you will have to engage with senior stakeholders across the organization.
Project management skills: As a Content Marketing Manager you will have to meet deadlines for multiple projects and ensure ROI on marketing campaigns. You will need to manage the organization’s output effectively and intervene if things are going off-track.
Analytical skills: You will need to partner with the Digital Manager to acquire data and use it to target selected groups, as well as analyze the success and direction of future campaigns.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
Strong prior experience in content marketing, ideally in B2B financial services research
Experience within investment banking or hedge funds preferred but not essential
Copywriting/marketing qualifications are preferred
Proficiency in English (other languages would also be beneficial) with a solid grip on grammar and style
Experience working directly with sales, product, editorial, digital, design teams
Experience building scalable content offerings
Ability to work with and manage resources from different departments globally
Outstanding project management skills (projects involving internal and external stakeholders) with the ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritise workloads
Impeccable copywriting skills and experience of delivering compelling content across various formats and to a range of audiences, and the ability to write all of this quickly under tight deadlines
Ability to master writing styles that speak to our audience on a variety of topics and within different structures, produce original material, and have a deep understanding of the different “buyer personas”
Editorial requirements include basic SEO understanding, content categorisation and structure, content development and distribution
Innovative and creative thinking skills, and the ability to manage content for multi-channel campaigns
A desire to learn new things, explore opportunities and identify the best solutions with the resources available
